Yes!  You can certainly switch from one primary Track (e.g. Gold) to another (e.g. Silver).  

However . . . you need to be aware that, when you do this, several things will change immediately according to your new primary Track.

For example, let's say you want to switch from Gold to Silver:

1. You will no longer be able to attend LIVE sessions.
2. All access to all 600 hours of recorded video classes goes off line for you immediately, except the videos of the current study of the Gold group.
3. You can no longer participate in class discussions during the week (you’ll receive them and can read them, but you can’t respond to them). 
4. You cannot immediately switch back to Gold: there is at least a 3 mo waiting period.  Two reason for this: 
1. We want Gold to be made up of dedicated study partners. This helps the group achieve and maintain stability and cohesion as a group. In the past, we’ve had a few people jumping in and out of Gold, and this brings instability and some confusion to the group.
2. It causes more administrative work.  We don’t have a staff, so every minute spent on helping people play musical chairs is time away of other types of important preparations that need primary focus. 
5. You might incur extra fees if you are not careful. This is not by design; it is a result of the software system that we did not develop and do not control. 

If you still want to switch primary Tracks, see below for other FAQ's on how to proceed while avoiding extra fees. 

You should only change Tracks during the last week of your billing cycle. Even though, technically, you can do this "at any time," that is not the best idea. This is an automated system, and because of that, it is best to make changes near the end of your billing cycle to avoid getting double-charged during that month.

How this automated system works:

Whenever you register for any Track, you are charged immediately for a 30 day increment.

If you withdraw from (cancel) a Track, you will continue to have access throughout its 30 day cycle, at which time it will end; but you won't be charged for it again.

Simple, right? So why be careful, here?  Because you can cause yourself to get double or triple charged. (What follows will sound like a 5th grade math problem)

Suppose you register for Silver Track.

Now, suppose that 5 days later you decide to upgrade or downgrade. So, you register for a different Track (to replace the first one). You might think, "The system will know how to make an immediate adjustment for the difference in price."  Well, that would be nice, but it doesn't. The automated system is not that smart!  It thinks in terms of 30 days. So now the system thinks there are two orders for 30 days each, and it will now charge you for this new Track as a new 30 day order. (The system is unable to pro-rate your previous payment or make adjustments.) 

Now suppose that 3 days later, you decide to upgrade or downgrade yet again. So you register for a new Track again, to replace the previous one.  Technically, you can do this. But the system will have charged you 3 times, each for 30 days.  

Now suppose you decide to contact us to "fix" this and refund some money for you.  We'll fix it, but we'll charge you for it---maybe even the whole amount you expect to get back.  Why? Because it takes us time and effort to fix these things. (We don't want to mess with it any more than you do!)

So here's the 5th grade question:

Q: How can you be smarter than the system? (choose only 1 of the following answers):

1: To avoid this situation, I should only make upgrades/downgrades just before the end of my billing cycle.  

2: Or, I should keep making changes all month long and just not worry about it.

The Answer is #1.  If you guessed number 2, you should get a tutor.

Hopefully, you understand clearly that you are dealing with an automated system. To avoid problems with it, simply wait until the last 2 or 3 days at the end of the billing cycle before you upgrade or downgrade. (Just don't wait till it runs out.)

Only register for one Track. 
This will be your Primary Track. 
You automatically get all the Tracks below it. (See the "5-Tracks" chart in the "Overview of Programs" just above this section.)

Whenever you register for any primary Track, you are charged immediately for a 30 day increment.
There is no refund for this. 

If you are not sure you are ready to do this, spend your time in the FREE TRACK and reading this website until you are sure. 

Normally, you won't need to change your Primary Track.
However, if you do:

1. First, before you do anything, see the Heads Up!! above.
2. Second, "Cancel" your Primary Track.  (See FAQ below for how to cancel.  This will delete all of the sub-Tracks associated with it.)
3. Third, register for the new Primary Track (this will add all sub-Tracks associated with it).

Following are a couple of simple examples (these apply to all Tracks):

To upgrade from Silver to Gold:  

1. First, cancel Silver. (This will delete Silver and everything associated with it. You will no longer have access to it or be charged for it.)  
2. Next, register for Gold. You will be charged immediately for Gold and start a new billing cycle on that date. Gold will automatically add Silver and Bronze back in, but you won't be paying for those. 

To downgrade from Gold to Silver:  

1. First, cancel Gold. (This will delete Gold and everything associated with it. You will no longer have access to it or be charged for it.) 
2. Next, register for Silver. You will be charged immediately for Silver and start a new billing cycle on that date.  Silver will automatically add Bronze back in, but you won't be paying for it.  

This is an automated system. If you want to cancel (i.e., drop out of) any paid account, you need to do this yourself.  

Here's how:

1. Go to your Profile (upper right corner), then click Settings, and then Billing Info. 
2. Follow directions there.
3. For an easy-to-follow video to walk you through it, click here and start watching at the 30 second mark.

If you want to cancel your Free Account also so that you are deleted from our system (you can't do that yourself), please send a request. 

BE CAREFUL:

For any Track . . .
. . . if you come to us the day of or after the end of your pay cycle and say, "I forgot! Please drop me from my Track and refund this new charge," we will do that, except we will charge you half the amount of the monthly fee.  To save you (and us) time and expense, we have made it possible for you to take care of your own account with the automated system.  

For Mastermind Groups (Gold or Platinum) . . .

1. If you are in one of these, and if you have not already completed a year in one of the groups,  
2. if you leave (i.e., cancel) the group during the year,
3. you will not be able to get back into that group until the next signup season (January).

You can certainly come back through the Silver Track, but there will be some limitations. (To see Silver Track description  GO HERE.)  You can also sign up for any other Track (Free, Bronze, Silver) at any time. But not Gold or Platinum---these are elite, focused, and closed groups. To rejoin either of these, you would need to wait for the next sign-up season. (We will be fairly strict to protect the integrity of the two Mastermind Groups.)
